About the Course

And these characteristics are interrelated in how the hair exists, behaves, and responds to care and styling. In this lesson, we explore how various hair characteristics interact and work together to influence the appearance, behavior, and care of textured hair.  By studying how texture expresses itself visually, sensorially and conditionally, students will move beyond surface-level analysis to develop a holistic view of textured hair as a living, responsive system.
